Licensed Site Professional (LSP) - Client company is a full-service firm that provides above and below ground tank cleaning, testing, installation and removal services, as well as emergency spill response and remediation services for private residences, municipalities, and government agencies in Massachusetts. We are seeking a Licensed Site Professional (LSP), reporting to the Company Founder & CEO, for our Wakefield, MA location.
The ideal candidate must have at least 8-10 years experience in environmental consulting, and the ability to provide technical support within an emergency response environment to ensure compliance with the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP). An LSP license is required as well as a strong understanding of the "front end" regulations within the MCP and previous experience working with the regulatory community. The candidate must possess 40-hour OSHA Hazwopper training and current refresher. Project management and supervision of in-house staff is required, and experience with emergency response cleanups and groundwater remediation systems is a plus.
Qualifications: A BS or MS from an accredited college/university is required with a major in environmental engineering, geology or related field. An LSP license is required, and the candidate must be willing to succeed in a high energy environment. Salary is very competitive. |
