The calculations for key model input parameters such as pool evaporation rate, emission rate, etc. are based on user-specified observables such a chemical property data and storage, release, and ambient meteorological conditions. EXPERT also recommends an appropriate dispersion model based on the results and seamlessly transfers these results to the dispersion model. The algorithms contained in the BREEZE HAZ EXPERT are based primarily on EPA’s document, “Guidance on the Application of Refined Dispersion Models to Hazardous/Toxic Air Pollutant Releases.
